Engineer James Lindsey Fatally Falls From Engine at Mortimer
James E. Lindsey, a well known Fort Wayne locomotive engineer for the Wicker Plate, died at Mortimer after falling from his engine as the train slowed at the station. Found by a station attendant, he died from a broken neck and injuries to his head and arm. West Union man kills lover, wounds rival, then commits suicide
