Fort Wayne councilors clash in a secretive meeting over an Everett street car contract. The Post publishes a detailed account contradicting claims of secrecy, showing Mohr Scheid Fisher McDonald and others pushing typewritten amendments to lock in a 3-cent fare and oppose shadowed plans.
Vice President Adlai Stevenson becomes partner in a vast olive grove project near Colton California. Barnet Stevenson supervises 840 acres being planted with olive trees.
