Two Badly Hurt In Runaway Wagon Incident

Mendal Frank, Hanna street grocer, saw his horse run away after a wagon loaded with groceries struck his wagon. Two occupants were injured as the wheels passed over Mendal Frank’s son and Cavault, breaking bones and dashing one man’s nose. Other accidents included injuries to a lineman, a Fort Wayne player struck by a brick, and a horse-drawn wagon wreck in front of East Main street. Also ads for strawberries and vegetables.

Association Boys Honor Secretary McCaughey on 10th Anniversary

Large group from the Y M C A and friends celebrated the 10th wedding anniversary of Mr and Mrs W F McCaughey at their West Washington boulevard home. The surprise event featured music from the Mandolin club Miss Gertrude Gilbert a male quartet readings by A R Hirons and refreshments. The association boys presented an elegant banquet lamp and an oak reading table plus other gifts.

Driving clubs to form a regional circuit meeting

Representatives from Fort Wayne Saginaw Cleveland Detroit Buffalo New York Columbus and Indianapolis driving clubs will meet at the Detroit Driving Club rooms on April 16 to organize a grand circuit.
