Tour of Parks by Forest Park Kiwanis Hosts
Forest Park Kiwanis hosted thirty seven Chippewa and Brule Indians on an automobile tour visiting Garfield Humboldt and Lincoln Parks. Dr J T Warner Kurt Berliner Otto Teich and others led the group leaving Forest Park at 10 am. dinner was at Otto's cafe Washington Boulevard. The Indians performed dances in Deer Grove and were honored by Kiwanis leaders including Walter Meyer president.

The Neighborhood club begins its season with an Friday afternoon meeting on October 12 featuring a review of The short story by Edith Helleman. Maywood officially lights its new half million dollar system on Monday. 1788 ornamental lights and four traffic lights are installed on concrete poles three to a block, with six per block on some business streets and Washington Boulevard. Obituary Ida Dietrich 64 Forest Park resident dies at Oak Park
Ida Dietrich, age 64, widow of August Dietrich, died at Oak Park hospital after a two month illness and three weeks in the hospital. Born in Germany in 1800, she came to the United States at age nine and lived in Forest Park twelve years. Survived by five children Henry, Richard, Fried, Clara Wiehety, and Ernest. Funeral at home this afternoon at 2:30 led by Rev. Wagner of St Johns Gotheran Church with burial at Concordia Cemetery.
