Mental Health Groups Planned for Villages
Following the Mental Health referendum the Proviso Township Mental Health Commission invites Maywood and Proviso residents to form Village Mental Health Councils. A June 25 meeting at 7 30 p m in St Evalatia's Scout room invites all Maywood residents to share needs for outpatient, inpatient, education and 24 hour emergency services. Proviso residents are urged to join village councils formed during the summer to guide service priorities.

Teachers Selected for Three Week Adult Education Program
Daniel J. McDougall of 32 Elgin is chosen for a three week program in adult education at Milnois State University from July 7 to 25. The group includes individuals with experience in teaching in city ghetto areas and work with school dropouts and other underprivileged groups across the state.

Lehman Named New Superintendent for F.P. Schools
The board selected L. Lehman as superintendent and Craney as assistant superintendent. Lehman will earn 18500 dollars and Craney 17500 dollars. Both appointments were approved unanimously and will take effect July 15 at Fletcher Stevenson school with a board induction coverage planned.

Village Council Upholds Promotions And Building Code Update
The village council accepted the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners recommendation promoting Sgt Charles Broeht to Lieutenant and Patrolman Charles Kline to Sergeant.
