New Librarian Joins Forest Park Library Staff
Susan Mascareallo reports Mrs. Clels Jensen began as Forest Park Public Library librarian succeeding Miss Josephine Austin after 28 years. Jensen, from Palatine, holds a BA in Sociology and an MLS from Northern Minds University. She praises the staff and plans a preschool Story Hour possibly starting October, with hours 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays in July and August. Sundays closed.

Henderson named biographer for Who's Who of American Women
Jo Ann Henderson, principal of Field Stevenson School, selected as biographer for the 1974 75 edition of Marquis Who's Who of American Women. Since 1960 she taught in Forest Park Schools, became Field Stevenson principal in 1969, active in AASA, Illinois Principals Association, and chairs Elementary Principals Association Section 5. Locally a Youth Commission member and Forest Park Oktoberfest organizer, she is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Orvald Henderson of Decatur Illinois.
