Open House Set At Grade School Sunday
The Field-Stevenson grade school will host an open house Sunday February 10 from 2 to 4 pm after remodeling. Forest Park school officials invite citizens, neighboring boards and PTA families to view the nearly finished building. Refreshments will be provided by Field-Stevenson and Junior High PTA members.

Forest Theater Hosts Late Run Pictures
Late run pictures may now be seen at the Forest Theater with admission 50 cents for adults and 20 cents for children. Double features are shown three times weekly on Sunday and Monday, with Tuesday to Thursday added, and other showings on Friday and Saturday. Manager Mr. Stevens invites patrons to seek him out before or after the show.

Pancake Dinner Planned by Forest Park Junior High PTA

Florida vacation for Oswalt family and friends

Village Council Orders Action Against Sub-Standard Units
Village officials ordered immediate action on several sub standard properties. Buildings at 7520 24 Randolph St were slated for demolition and razing by May 1 1957. Other sites including 1333 Elgin and 1114 Elgin faced injunctions for unsafe conditions.
