Forest Park Sets February 4 Vote on West Towns Franchise

Eddie Mohr Reaches New York With 129th

Kakia Muhr nephew of Henry J Mohr is in New York after a ruling received at the Mohr household last Sunday. Eddie Mohr served with Infantry mud swept units on three fronts. he was last with them during the latest trip and is now expected home in a few weeks. Eddie’s father Chaplek Mohr of Clubria Wisconsin learned of his son’s safe return and wept for joy.

Fighting Soldier at Presbyterian Church

Alfred Reese, a former fere squadron member with the A B B in England and Brance, will speak at Pioneer Presbyterian Church. He spoke last Sunday and will again at the evening service on Sunday January 12. Reese recounts one year in Lesdon and his squadron’s role in repelling Hun yards, promising thrilling stories. A special communion service will be held at the Pioneer Sunday morning.

Obituary for Alga Lorniicher at Madison Street home

Alga Lorniicher, longtime resident of 7421 Madison Street, died Tuesday January 7 after nine years of illness. Born 41 years ago in Austria, he lived in Wik Tor the past decade and served as band leader. Surviving are his wife and twin children Merbert and Josephine, with many community members offering sympathy. Funeral services are scheduled Saturday afternoon at the local woodlot chapel, with interment at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Reverend Quatay Grovslap will preside.
