Brownies Invested Into Troop 150 Ceremony
On a January Wednesday 17 Brownies from Troop 150 Field Stevenson were invested into Girl Scouts. Parents watched as each Brownie recited the Brownie Promise and received a Brownie Girl Scout Pin and a Friendship pin. Third graders were given one year memberships. Green resigns as Proviso Township High Schools supt
Norman Green, superintendent since July 1966, resigns at the February 18 1969 board meeting effective June 30 1969. He plans to provide a final district report and recommendations and will join Mt. Lebanon Unit system near Pittsburgh. He is a Massachusetts native with degrees from NE Conservatory Boston Univ Univ of Iowa and has held roles in YMCA and school administration groups.

Zoning Board Acts On Forest Home Cemetery Apartments
The village zoning board met with Mayor Witt and Commissioners in attendance to consider Forest Home Cemetery’s request for zoning variation to build multiple story apartments along Roosevelt Road and Des Plaines on cemetery land.
