Higgins Dies of Injuries After Bicycle Crash
Roanoke Rapids March 5 funeral for B B Higgins son of A C Higgins of Bostic N C held February 18 at Roanoke Rapids church. He died February 16 after a truck struck his bicycle and ran over him. The driver, a negro, was later arrested. Survived by widow and two children Curtis Higgins and Mrs Freeman. Also survived by father A C Higgins two brothers two half brothers and five half sisters. Mr Higgins a Rutherford County native had lived in Roanoke Rapids about 26 years.
