Trousseau Shower For Bride Elect In Avondale
Miss Ruby Smith and Miss Lucille Frye hosted a trousseau shower for bride elect Miss Alice Earle Edwards at her home on June 12. The decor featured yellow and white with field daisies and cedar boughs. Guests signed a bridal register and Miss Lucille Wall won a Bride's Trousseau prize, which she presented to Edwards. A letter found in an umbrella directed her to a chest of gifts. An orange pineapple jelly salad course followed and many locals assisted. Clyburn Soloman of the Richfield Four-H club reported earning 101.50 from soybean harvest over three years. Frigidaire promotion and Farmers Hardware Co. ads appear.
