Thousands are expected for the dedication of Floresville Sacred Heart Church’s new 26000 dollar Educational Building on Sunday June 26 at 2 30 p m. The Rt Rev Joseph L Manning will bless the structure with visitors from nearby towns. A homecoming and barbecue supper follow at 4 30 p m served by church ladies, with seating for hundreds in the new facility.

A severe electrical thunderstorm struck Floresville Monday night, bringing 50 to 60 mph winds and lightning.
