Death of an old settler Huntsinger of Camden
Jesse Huntsinger died at his Camden home early Wednesday morning after retiring in good health. He was a Carroll county pioneer, coming with his parents about 68 years ago, born January 2, 1832 in Montgomery County Ohio. He married Margaret Kendall in 1852, who died in 1886, and earlier settled west of Burrows, building a leading county farm before moving to Camden. Survived by two brothers and a sister, with nephews and nieces including Allen Huntsinger of Flora. Funeral at Rockfield Presbyterian Church at 1 30 this afternoon, with interment in Odd Fellows cemetery. PD B Allbaugh, recently elected county surveyor, predicted to serve well. Portrays local shops offering Christmas jewelry and gifts. William Bossom Sr. dies at Burlington drug store residence after two weeks illness.

Mart Hursh Dies Sudden in Flora City
Mart V. Hursh died at his home in Flora on a Wednesday afternoon after attending Rev. Isaac Ross public sale. He suffered a severe heart attack and, despite doctors, died shortly after. Known for his cheerful, old-fashioned manners, he was beloved by neighbors and friends.
