A Friday night wind storm caused extensive damage in the southern part of the county. A cyclone struck Sedalia blowing down two barns on Wm Myers' farm and scattering heavy timber into a kitchen. About one thousand acres of heavy corn were ruined, and Myers' orchard and a Sedalia school cupola suffered damage amid overall property losses.
