Grade School Operetta Pleasing Event at Gem Theatre
The Brownie Band operetta by Filer grade schools under Mrs Maude Dygert drew an appreciative audience Tuesday at the Gem theatre. Children played owls Brownies Wood Nymphs and Sunflowers in bright costumes. Six soloists and eight readers complemented the show. The grade school orchestra directed by Bre Oggert provided the music. The performance was creditable and praised by all involved.
