Plan Military Funeral for Elbert Shirk
Elbert Shirk, 25, ex serviceman and son of Mr and Mrs J T Shirk, died at a government hospital. His body will arrive from Prescott Arizona and a local American Legion post will hold a military funeral Saturday at 2:30 pm at the Mennonite church. He served overseas with rank of sergeant and returned from France three years ago. A telegram reported his shipment and accompaniment by an attendant. His sister in Kentucky is expected to attend the funeral.
