At an adjourned meeting the board passed Ordinance No 48 to create an improvement district for paving Main street from the fair grounds to Idaho Avenue and to the street’s west end. The plan covers full width from fair grounds to Idaho and twenty feet beyond. total estimated cost is 54 973 80 with costs allocated by front footage and street intersections.

Gooding Idaho June 16 Yesterday Gooding College received a choice consignment of pickles cherries peaches raspberries jellies and other canned fruits. The donation came from the Birthday club of Filor and other women's and youth groups plan to aid the school. Also gifted were Art and Artist by Clarence Cook and Worlds Great Orations by William Jennings Bryan donated to the library in memory of Mrs Rita Ratekin Casto by Pitman Casto and Cynthia Ratekin.
