Cement highway nears opening on east end district
Nearly a mile of state highway cement is being laid in the district with 582 feet completed yesterday and work progressing at over 600 feet daily. A 45 man crew, mostly local, handles cementing while multiple gangs prepare base, sand, gravel, rock, and mixing at the Max Pond farm. The road is 18 feet wide with 5.5 inch side and 6.5 inch center thickness, surfaced in one pass and kept wet for ten days to prevent cracking. Officials predict traffic will open from Curry westward soon as the Twin Falls district ties into the project.

Information from Colonel William J Simmons of Atlanta reports Klan organizers in this state and in town to assist in establishing a branch. The Imperial Wizard says the modern Knights of the Ku Klux Klan was organized in Atlanta in 1915 with four members and is now being established in a broad territory including Colorado, Wyoming, Montana and Idaho.

Fezzed Nobles gathered in Buhl for Shrine activities on a Saturday. The Ki Korah temple team and minstrel troupe arrived by overland cars to Owsley ferry. They toured the Owsley bridge and performed at Bubal and at the Tee theater in the afternoon. A dance followed at Buffington's barn.
