Twin Falls County Proceedings 1923 Coal Bids and Hospital Rename
Twin Falls Idaho May 11 1923 regular April session convened with full board to invite bids on one car of pea coal and one car of mine run coal for the County Hospital. Bids due May 16. Also ordered charity ticket to Kansas City for Mrs Frank McCormick and daughter. May 16 opening bids for coal. Douglas Coal Co awarded the mine run rainbow car at 7.90 per ton. Public auction set for June 22 for extensive county land parcels. Salary of assistant county attorney John H Barnes raised to 125 monthly. Further actions include bidding for hospital garage and a name change to Twin Falls County General Hospital.
