Word has it evangelist E late will arrive about March 12 to lead a revival meeting. The Sunday school reports strong attendance with 5% present and adopts a birthday offering system for 1914 to fund a bell. Jodie Wiggins presents the 1918 annual Sunday school report with totals for four quarters.

Mr and Mrs T M Jeffords formerly of Bi visit Ver mont Illinois their old hometown. The Vermont paper notes a reception in their honor where they spoke about life in Oklahoma and the percent work in which he is involved.
The semi annual Woman's County Sunday School convention will convene in Lawton at the Baptist church on Monday and the following day. Sessions start at 7 30 PM. All county Sunday schools are to send a delegate. Out of town delegates receive free entertainment. Several good speakers are planned and refreshments provided.

According to the Southwestern Banker of Kansas City W L Moody president of the American Bank and Trust Co Galveston Texas is the youngest bank president in the United States at age twenty today.
The Embroidery club met Saturday afternoon with Mrs C Brandon and presented her with a new coat. All ten members attended and each sampled a different refreshment, totaling ten varied beverages. The club plans to meet next Saturday with Mrs J Fitzgerald.
Feeding cattle updates show Chris Ile of Sterling hauling cotton seed meal here Friday. Martin Tile feeds 63 head from a silo and reports high satisfaction with the results.
T B Snell of near Fletcher and Miss Vaughn of Elgin were married last Saturday at Larrigan Arkansas and returned to Elgin Sunday night. They planned to stay but disliked the country. The bride is daughter of W W Vaught and sister of Mrs T J Page of Elgin. The groom farms near Fletcher and they will move to Chickasha soon.
Served oysters as Feeman lodge held a meeting Tuesday evening. New officers were not installed due to the absence of head officer B. W. Hamilton. After supper guests departed and Mrs. G. W. Walker was initiated into the order's mysteries.
District Judge D Johnson heads Comanche County officers list with county and city officials including judge, clerk, treasurer, sheriff, recorder and assessor. Elgin City officers show mayor, clerk, treasurer, marshal and trustees. Post office staff, and School District No 16 teachers are listed along with Masonic lodge and Eastern Star officers and meeting times.
A group of young folks gathered at RM's residence last Wednesday evening to welcome the new year, ending the old year with a lively watch party and fond reminiscences. The informal event featured friendly chatter, light refreshments, and a sense of community.
