Mail service improved on the Frisco line with four trains carrying mail
Over the past year the Frisco railroad has enhanced mail delivery with four passenger trains carrying mail, creating two mails daily except Sundays. Most towers along the line can be served the same day, with Elgin Fletcher and Cement receiving a night lock pouch from Chickasha and 3 p.m. letters sent to Chickasha on the afternoon train and returned on the night train. Cyril still has only one daily mail from here to Cyril.

Arm Fracture Reported for Local Worker Near Sterling
Francis Snyder, a resident near Sterling employed by T. P. Fenton, broke his right wrist while handling a mule last Wednesday morning. Bought Indian Lease Near Elgin by Buckley
E H Buckley purchased a quarter section of Indian land about five miles west of Elgin from Jess Kunte. He takes possession with 50 acres of corn, 3d acres of kafir, other feed crops and two horses. He already had eight head cattle and will now be Farmer Buckley, not Carrier Buckley, and plans to skip the rural carrier examination next Saturday.

Corn Condition Improved in Oklahoma on Aug 1
