Mrs. W. L. Kleber celebrated with friends who brought tokens of remembrance. Miss Spencer hosted the Eighth grade commencement class and the Book Worm club at the library where weekly summer meetings will study non fiction with a two person book committee. Refreshments followed. Friends in Council met Miss MacDonald Friday evening, but weather kept attendance small. those present enjoyed musical numbers and social time.

L Schoenheit born At tica Ohio December 16 1848 died at his Falls City home May 14 1108 aged 60 years 5 months 25 days. He came to Nebraska in 1861 with his father Aug Schoenheit later settling in this city and remaining until death. He married Betty Moss in 1869 and leaves wife and son Orville. A longtime business man known for kindness and generosity. Funeral from his home Friday afternoon officiated by Rev Neide of St Thomas church with interment in Steele Cemetery.
