Family Reunion at Powell Home Delights Kin

Grandma Powell planned to break up housekeeping but hosted a family reunion at John Powell's home last Sunday. Attendees included Mrs. Frank McDermand and son Teddy of Kansas City, Mr. and Mrs. Sol Mertz and son Roy of Sebetha Kans, Mrs. Tom Ramsey, Sterling, Ellis Powell and family of Preston, and James and John Powell of this city. A good time was had by all in social conversation.

Friends in Council Elect Officers After Evening Gathering

Miss Keim was elected president with Miss Graves as vice president and Zola Jones as secretary, while Miss Richards became treasurer. Correction issued on assault charge naming McMahan instead of McClellan
