Word reached in this city last Sunday that Dan Sullivan was shot at Artesia New Mexico. The injured man, son of Mr and Mrs Marty Sullivan, has acted as New Mexico land agent and led land seeking parties there. The shooting followed a dispute over commission due him from land sales. Two shots struck him one in the face and one in the shoulder. eye may be removed and arm may be lost. He was taken to Roswell for hospital care and remains in danger Wednesday waiting for further word.
