Francis C Cook born March 18 1848 in Marion County Ohio died September 25 1909 at Eureka Springs Arkansas aged 61 years six months seven days. He married Ruah Sears who died 1880 and Mary Carman whom he wed in 1881 and survived him. He leaves wife daughter granddaughter and sister plus many relatives and friends. Funeral held at home due to wife illness with services by Rev McNeill Libertyville.

Henry C Rowntree a longtime Fairfield resident died suddenly at his West Washington street home on Sunday morning November 7 from heart failure. He had lived in the city for forty years and managed insurance affairs from Lincoln Nebraska while keeping Fairfield as his residence. Survived by his wife he had returned home last Wednesday to rest before health declined. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon conducted by Rev Graves with interment in Evergreen cemetery.
