Col O L French Dies at 76 at Soldiers Home
Colonel O L French a Harrison county resident and veteran who marched with Sherman to the sea died at the Marshalltown Soldiers' Home. Born in 1829 in Vermont he moved to Iowa about thirty years ago and served as county recorder from 1886 to 1890. He is survived by a wife. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon.
