Mrs Amelia A Aronson Dead in Salina
Mrs Amelia A Aronson of Salina died last Wednesday night after a brief illness from pneumonia at her home. Survived by three sons Ernest Eric and Enoch. Funeral at Swedish Lutheran church with burial in Salina cemetery. Born in Sweden March 14 1851. She and husband Mr Aronson had six children, three died. Mr Aronson died in Sweden in 1888. They came to America in 1893 locating in Jefferson County near Salina where they resided.

Carl Brown of Waterloo defeated Guy Elliott of Collins in straight falls in a fast bout Friday night. Brown won the first fall in 14 minutes with a scissors on the arm. Elliott fought back, but Brown clinched the second fall in 36 minutes 40 seconds with a scissors on body and head lock.
