Neighbors oppose Penfield Pavilion year-round plan
Fairfield Parks and Recreation approved a renovation plan for Penfield Beach Pavilion I to create a year-round facility, despite resident protests. Neighbors cite noise and peace concerns, noting police say noise complaints may be hard to address. Architects estimate funding and bids are pending while winter use is planned as part of a mixed design.
