The Fairfield Democratic Town Committee hosts a fundraiser on Sept 23 at Tommy's Restaurant to benefit Widows and Orphans Funds of NYPD and NYC Fire Department. People’s Bank collects for American Red Cross Disaster Relief. St. Vincent’s Medical Center accepts water and snacks for rescue workers. Donations support NYC relief groups American Red Cross Salvation Army AmeriCares and Catholic Charities of New York. The Fairfield County Community Foundation and AmeriCares also announce funds to aid victims and families.
