Fairfield Town considers library renovation funding
Fairfield boards weigh 750000 initial funding for the main library renovation and expansion. The Board of Finance will hear the request at 7 p.m. in Sullivan Independence Hall after the Selectmen approved the expenditure. The plan adds a technology center and children area, relocates mechanicals, expands space, and may affect 2 to 3 parking spots. The library endowment would help repay municipal bonds, with an additional 500000 sought from a state library construction fund.
