The Boy Scouts under Chief Scoutmaster Eugene Pal plan an entertainment in the Gymnasium tomorrow evening for all ages. The program includes athletic stunts, games, and drills with proceeds aiding equipment for athletics and a camping expedition next summer.
Miss Viva Valentine visits Brigh ton friends for a few days. David Clinkenbeard of Mr Pleasant spent Christmas with his father and relatives. Mrs W E Thompson visits Chicago daughter briefly. Silas Wood of Germanville travels for business. Elks party canceled. Ruth Sumner to Ottumwa for about ten days. Helen Osborn visits Des Moines Knoxville for holidays. Luella Millhouse to Davenport for holidays. Helen Bean of Hopkington spends holidays with her parents Dr and Mrs J W Bean. Mr and Mrs Hale Greenleaf return to Centerville from Ottumwa. Mrs Chester Carlson returns home to Ottumwa after visiting East Broadway.
Winfield Iowa December reports the Board of Supervisors added 500 to the reward raising the total to about 2500 with state help likely. Miss Bowman slowly improves though remains in a boarding house. She says three strangers blindfolded her at a near town building then assaulted her with a revolver and told her to keep silent.
