Relatives Await Homeward 133d Regiment at Fort Madison
At Fort Madison Iowa relatives of members of the 133d regiment waited hopes for reunion as trains were rerouted east. Many visitors had traveled long distances and stayed through the night at the Santa Fe depot while the unit moved toward France. A Cedar Rapids private missed sight of his 15 week old baby as his wife arrived briefly to say goodbye.
