Dr Sadler Company Delivers Emergency Care Lecture
The Dr Sadler Company presented a Friday afternoon lecture for Fairfield Chautauqua attendees on Accidents and Emergencies, Or What To Do Until The Doctor Comes. Drs William and Lena Sadler led demonstrations with the help of their three year old son Master William Sadler and a trained nurse, teaching sun stroke, fainting, burns, drowning, dislocations, fractures, choking, and other urgent first aid steps.

Miss Willmer of Dr Sadler Company presented The Sign of the Cross to a crowd of about five thousand with vivid Roman character portrayals and enthusiastic applause. She returns for Aunt Janet from Kentucky at 4 50 this afternoon on the Chautauqua program. The Fisher Shipp Company gave a farewell concert drawing the largest Assembly year crowd with frequent encores. Program included Miserere and Prison Scene from Il Trovatore and a De Beriot concerto movement.

Mrs Roach Dies After Long Salina Residence
Mrs Margaret Roach widow of Edmund Roach died Saturday at 10 30 a m after a long illness. Born in Ireland May 9 1841 she came to America at age eight and later lived on a farm south of Salina for 45 years. Survived by eleven children all grown, she was a devoted Catholic and pillar of her church. Funeral at Fairfield Catholic church and burial at Mt Pleasant beside her husband.

Pony fall injures McIntire boy at Broadway Fourth
Arthur McIntire, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben McIntire, was thrown from a pony when it slipped on the pavement at Broadway and Fourth. He sustained a deep cut above the knee and a bruised head. He was returned home after treatment and will be confined for several days.
