Albany October 25 Attorney General Osborn holds inspectors of election may challenge any person offering to vote and ask questions to verify qualifications and residence. If questions show a voter is qualified, inspectors need not demand naturalization papers. Voters may change residence and still vote in the original locale.

Later estimates show Thursday night fire losses total about 500000 including Chapmans store with 3100000 and 150000 ins on stock. Mississippi steamboat Henry Frank burned above Davis crevasse on October 25 with cargo of cotton 7257 bales, all on board escaped, boat built Cincinnati 1575 cost 85000 dollars, insured 35000, owners Flicks and Grissom.
Annie Logan and her three year old son Howard were found dead in their room at 1906 Callowhill Street. The room was filled with escaping gas from an open job. A vacant job card marked Jandsnam was found on the mantel, leading investigators to suspect poisoning and suffocation as the cause of death.
