The funeral of ex Secretary Frelinghuysen was held Saturday at two o clock in New Ark New Jersey with a large turnout. Attending were ex President Arthur Senator Edmunds ex Attorney General General Brewster Senators Sewell and McPherson Governor Abbott local judiciary and foreign ministers. Colonel McMichael delivered President Cleveland s sympathies. The procession moved from the house to the North Reformed Church where a large crowd gathered. The organ played a dirge the choir sang I Heard a Voice From Heaven and the eulogy was delivered by Rev Dr Chambers. Interment followed at Mt Pleasant Cemetery.
