Welsh legends and Cabot link to Welsh Indians tale
An Evening Observer excerpt discusses James Wood of Albany recounting Welsh legends from 1176 about Medoc and a vanished Welsh expedition. It cites Morgan and later explorers finding Welsh language echoes among Native groups, Welsh Bible manuscripts, and Codfish terms from Breton fishermen tying to Cabot’s Newfoundland landing in 1497.

Beauty and Strength Increase With Age, Spirit-Led
The passage argues warmth, strength, and beauty should rise to at least thirty five and retain beauty until death as spirit beauty rather than flesh. It praises old age as beautiful, asserting white hair and waning cheeks matter little when eyes glow with a triumphant light and faith lends sweetness to the glance and cadence to the voice.
The Secret of Beauty and the Power of Thought
A reflective piece urges readers to trust the mind to shape the body and life. It contrasts debility with self belief, praising nature and seasonal vitality as they lead to renewal and a stronger, healthier self through confident thought.
