The interstate commerce commission announced appointment of members and substitutes to joint board No. 343 for South Dakota Wyoming and North Dakota under the 1935 motor carrier act. Appointees include C L Doherty Elmer W Cart and Will M Lynn with substitutes from each state and related transportation officials. The board may hear consider and recommend orders on motor carrier and brakeman matters in the three states. Travel and subsistence expenses are provided for members serving on the board.

Big Increase In Duck Stamp Sales In South Dakota
The Bureau reports a rise in migratory waterfowl hunting stamps sold in South Dakota from 12,594 in 1934 to 22,334 last year. Since issuance in August 1934, a total of 70,053 stamps have been sold. Each $1 stamp covers one year and must be carried by hunters over 16.
