Lamb Feeding To Be Reduced In 1932 Corn Belt
Brookings reports from federal statistician C. J. Borum indicate lamb feeding in the corn belt will be greatly scaled back from last year and prior years. Shipments of feeder lambs through inspected markets are expected small, with total six month shipments unlikely to exceed the smallest 13 year total. Western states show mixed patterns with Colorado reduced but the San Louis Valley and Western slope seeing larger numbers, while other west states hold or rise slightly.
