Use Of New Bond Issue Explained In Rural Credits Plan
Pierre May 21 The rural credits commission will use a million dollar refunding bond issue to retire prior bonds and cover interest. A 500000 issue was due May 15 and a 400000 due June 1, with over 9000000 acres in land titles or foreclosures. The plan aims to lower interest costs from 1925 peak and notes a history of land ownership, rents, and limited land sales while noting about a million dollars annual revenue from a special levy to cover overhead and taxes.
