Lake Redfield Joined City Park System At Redfield
Redfield city council voted to incorporate Lake Redfield into the park system. The man made lake, formed by Turtle Creek, spans about 400 acres with 2 000 acre feet of water and uses a spillway dam completed in 1936. The project followed Kiwanis plans with Fish and Game input and WPA labor.
