Huron Musicians Headed to Madison Festival
A 235 member Huron city schools delegation will leave at 6 15 a m by special train for Madison to take part in the National Music Week festival with bands orchestra and glee club from four cities. Over a thousand young musicians will perform a mass chorus of 510 voices and a mass orchestra of 265 while 25 players form the band. Rehearsals occur morning and afternoon and a dance closes the day in Madison armory. Huron hosts next year.
