Dairy cows steady. springer cows about 55.00. Watertown notes hogs mostly 5 higher at 4.85, meat buyers 4.20 to 4.85, cattle, veal and sheep steady.

Wheat futures rise to session high on market buying

Wheat futures climbed to near session highs extending gains to about two cents a bushel as news from Britain supported short covering. May contracts rose to around 1.03 dollars per bushel with July near 1.00. Mrs Ida Burnham Dies at 80 in Huron Home

Ida M Burnham aged 80 died last night at 7 in the home of her son Clinton Burnham 1212 Milinsis Avenue Southwest. She was born May 25 1859 in Harding County youngest of ten children. She married Horace Burnham February 12 1879 and lived in Hudson SD until 1921 when she moved to Huron. Survived by daughter Mrs I E Benson and son Clinton. Funeral Thursday at 2 30 at Kinyon Chapel with Dr C E Wilcox. Body to be taken to Hudson for Friday services and burial there.
