Dr and Mrs Martin returned from a motor trip to Canada.

Rev. and Mrs. Leslie Eacles drove to Huron Sunday where Mr. Eacles' Beulah church class broadcast from the radio. Velma Marlow of Zell visited at the Charles Olson home. Reese Howell of Redfield attended farming duties locally Sunday. Hubert Bushang and Mrs. Joe Bushong attended to business in Miller on Friday.

Esmond Mc and Mrs Joe Coleman and family plus Mrs Yack Hoege and son Merle returned home after a brief Black Hills stay. George Gardner and granddaughters with George Walkington of Huron spent Sunday at Lake Byron. Guy Strub underwent a week of doctor visits for infected tonsils. Mrs C O Watts of Pharr Texas visiting Chester Wikle and Mire Minnie Wikle in Sioux Falls and Brookings for a week. Wattle left Esmond 13 years ago. Verne Hoege and Charles Mulholland with families drove to Sioux Falls for a day visit. Bliss and Caffrey families shopped in Huron Saturday. Maynard Opsdahl and family of Carpenter joined W J Wilkins for a Sunday visit. William Spriggs and wife left Sunday for Bismarck North Dakota to visit relatives for about ten days.

The Rev and Mrs Redfield and Miss Pearl Young attended a camp meeting at Woodland north of Iroquois Friday. Max Vettermen with Dr Sorenmn of Huron left Tuesday for Sioux Falls where Mr Vetterman will enter Stevenson Brothers eye clinic for examination and treatment.
