College Army Men Ordered To Duty
Brookings June 19 Twenty eight State College graduates received reserve commissions on June 9 and must report for active duty June 25 at Fort Omaha for exams before assignment to Fort Leonard Wood Missouri. Names include Fred J Kelly Hay Charles T Leonard Estelline and many others with ROTC ties both local and out of state. Forty two graduates earned reserve commissions while five more were ordered to Fort Benning for mechanized infantry training.

Young People's Club Of Sanborn To Hear Address Tuesday

Pastors Course Attracts Ministers To State College July
The 11th Interdenominational Ministers Short Course in Community Leadership at State College July 7 12 will bring a 15 member staff of religious and social work leaders to Brookings. First Church Service Held In Blunt Recalled in Saloon Memory
George Cravath, visiting Blunt memories from 1893 to 1890s tell of the first church service held in a saloon with an itinerant preacher.
