Enlisted Reserve Plan May Be In Effect At State College Soon
Brookings June 1 The United States army enlisted reserve corps plan will soon be in effect at State College, says Prof Eugene D Burr college military adviser. He notes the program allows voluntary enlistment of students to remain inactive while continuing education, similar to navy and air force plans. Burr emphasizes need for educated personnel in war industries and armed forces, and says colleges must support the war effort with suitable curricula and facilities.
