Minneapolis Man Is Speaker At Springs
B F Benson of the Benson Quinn Grain Co Minneapolis spoke at Kiwanis in Wellington Springs last week on wheat and its influence on other grains. He criticized the old farm board program calling it a failure and praised stabilization efforts while noting storage and transportation limits. He warned storage of this year’s crop as a major problem with 600 million bushels carried over and a 700 million bushel crop ahead. He urged selling opportunities at fair prices and said most grain must be stored on farms.
