Hazel Flatt of Harrisburg will receive a $70 tuition scholarship for one year from the Faculty Women's club at the University of South Dakota. She ranked in the top ten of the annual scholarship contest and will enter the university this fall. Miss Hart excelled in speech drama music and journalism in Harrisburg High School and served as editor and reporter for the school paper.

Will Grabow Dies After Brief Illness in Miller Hospital
Lawrence July 25 Special Will Grabow a Soryear de Hand County farmer died in Miller hospital early Sunday morning after a brief illness. He grew violently ill from suspected food poisoning Thursday afternoon and was treated in hospital. His condition grew critical Saturday. an operation was performed to save his life. He leaves his wife a son Ruggles and a sister Mrs T L Jarmuth of Miller.

Yankton barber dies by own action after losses
Joseph Rivola a 58 year old Yankton resident and retired barber shot himself at his Yankton home. Despondency was given as the cause amid recent sale of his shop and hearing loss. Coroner Dr F J Abts reported death by self inflicted cause. Funeral held Monday. Survivors include two unmarried sisters Eleanor and Jeannette and a married sister Mrs Kathryn Mueller of Los Angeles.
