Senate testifying Wallace reports 42 percent of farmers are tenants with rising numbers. The plan would allocate $600 million to the Farm Security Administration for seven years to rehabilitate tenants. He cites 750000 loans already made with 87000 paid off early and notes nearly 1.2 million farm families earn under $500 yearly, implying rehabilitation loans could restore independence and decent living conditions.
Tulare July 13 special Mr and Mrs J C Trier returned to their home after a month in California. They were accompanied by a grandson and a daughter Mrs Ralph Hopkins.

Kelley Plumbing and Heating Co of Aberdeen gets 2824 for heating and plumbing. Aberdeen Electric Co secures the 450 electrical contract.
An audit of St. Lawrence school district books shows a seven thousand dollar reduction in bonded debt, lowering the total to six thousand dollars. The move is the first in several years and is noted in the district clerk and treasurer reports.
Mr and Mrs J W LeMohn left Tuesday by car for Sioux Falls to retrieve their small daughter visiting her grandmother. They recently moved from Presho and reside in the Bert Conkey house. Dorothy Evelyn Geyer 17 daughter of Mr and Mrs C P Geyer died Sunday morning. Funeral held Wednesday at Methodist Church with Rev E E Vernon officiating. Pallbearers were Dorothy’s school and young people class members. Burial in Iroquois cemetery. She was a senior at the public school and active in church work including Epworth League Junior Choir and Sunday School teaching. She sang in glee club and declamation groups. Survived by parents five sisters Emma Woodruff Laura Renfiro Edna Geyer Sylvia Rena and two others and eight brothers Vic Earl Arthur Harry Raymond Fred William and Charles. Some siblings attended the funeral. Additionally notes on Mission meeting in Alpena, Aberdeen visit, and Delpha Rawstein and George Philips visiting Minnesota absent relevant details.
On July 13 a group of friends surprised Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thompson to honor their 26th wedding anniversary. The evening was informal with a social gathering and lunch served after the visit.
