Pheasant Lounge To Open Friday With Formal Opening
The Pheasant Lounge at Marvin Hughitt Hotel will have a formal opening Friday, with luncheon service starting at 11 30 a.m. and dinner at 5 30 p.m. The $15 000 reconstruction includes two mezzanine rooms for private dining or office use. Five staff led by Mark Kuni will operate the lounge, the third on sale establishment to open since liquor dispensation was legalized last April.

Child Dies After Train Crash Near Winfred
Virginia Mae Peterson ten is dead after injuries from a June 22 collision between a Milwaukee train and a car near Winfred Minnesota. Her mother remains hospitalized with a fractured skull and internal injuries. The Schroeders in the car were hurt but recovered.
