Amarillo Texas February 23 Lieutenant Allan Van De Mark planned a 7 a m takeoff from English Field to Los Angeles aiming to beat Captain Frank Hawks east west record. He landed yesterday at 5 50 p m after ten hours from Lockport New York accompanied by Mr and Mrs W M Lee and their 13 year old son Hawks set a 1 hour 50 minute record August 6 1930 New York to Los Angeles.

College Recital Delights Audience In First Public Show
